Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to find out the relationship of quality of work life with organisational commitment and job satisfaction in higher education sector. The sample consists of 185 academic professionals. Cronbach alpha, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin, Independent T-test, ANOVA and multiple regressions are used to analyses the data. The study reveals that there is a negative correlation of degree of grievances with organisational commitment and job satisfaction whether positive relationship of job satisfaction with quality of work life and organisational commitment. The result also shows that there is a positive relationship of age, experience, designation and salary with the quality of work life, organisational commitment, and job satisfaction. The study reveals that job security, degree of grievances, salary, participative management, and rewards and recognitions play a vital role in improving job satisfaction and commitment in higher education sector.
