Abstract: In the times of globalisation and competition, the education field is drastically changing. There is a need for change and teachers play the most important role as change facilitators, for which teacher's innovative behaviour becomes essential. This behaviour has made teaching a demanding and stressful occupation that provides impetus to study well-being as another important factor. Literature has addressed well-being as subjective or eudaemonic, but for teachers to achieve their true potential, eudaemonic well-being is required. Literature also suggests that there exist a discernible link between innovative behaviour and well-being. Very few studies have examined teachers' innovative behaviour and eudaemonic well-being simultaneously. With the help of extensive literature review, this study has developed a preliminary conceptual model by exploring the factors that were found to be determinants of teacher's eudaemonic well-being as well as their innovative behaviour. The factors that were determined are personality traits, work-life balance, self-efficacy and demographic variables.
