Abstract: Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) have seen tremendous growth in the last decade, providing a vast range of applications in both military and civilian activities. However, such applications require heavy data packets to be shared on the same spectrum without the requirement of excessive radios. Thus, efficient approaches are required which can provide improved data dissemination along with the better quality of services (QoS) to allow heavy traffic to be easily shared between the vehicles. In this paper, an efficient data dissemination approach is proposed which not only improves the vehicle to vehicle connectivity but also improves the QoS between the source and the destination. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated in terms of the significant gains attained in the parameters namely, end to end delay, packet delivery ratio, route acquisition time, throughput, and message dissemination rate in comparison with the existing approaches.
