Abstract: Buckling analysis of the nanocomposite piezoelectric nanoplate with cut out resting in elastic foundation is presented in this article. In order to enhance mechanical properties of nanoplate with central cut out, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are distributed as uniform distribution (UD) through thickness. For defining the shape function of cut out, the domain decomposition method and orthogonal polynomials are used. At last, to obtain critical buckling load of system, Rayleigh-Ritz method is provided. The impacts of the length and width of nanoplate, dimension of square cut out and elastic medium on the piezoelectric nanoplate are presented in this study. The results show that considering cut out in nanoplate, the buckling load is decreased.
