  Abstract/
Summary
Software testing is an essential phase that helps us to ensure that all software features work according to requirements and, more importantly, discover software defects. The result of software testing highly depends on the quality of test cases. In this paper, we propose the game approach to teach students in designing good test cases. This educational game helps students to learn and practice on evaluating of test cases, and subsequently enable them to design effective test cases. The game is evaluated on three groups of players. The learning outcomes are compared between three groups and then discussed. The results suggest a positive future for SimTEST.
