  Abstract/
Summary
Agility has been the trend in software development that led to the creation of the Agile Manifesto in 2001. Notwithstanding its roots from iterative development it has great emphasis on team collaboration and integration, frequent deliveries and ability to adapt to changing business needs. Specifically focused on software quality assurance, the study presents the current status of the software testing education in the Philippines and the impact of the implementation of the agile course development model for offshore outsourcing.
