Abstract/ Summary |
Lane detection for the driving system has been developed to aid a driver in the lane departure decision-making, to reduce a loss of concentration and to prevent an accident while driving. In this paper, we propose the useful solution for detecting lanes by comparing histogram shapes and Hough transform algorithms through digital image processing. The method presented here was tested on video sequences filmed by using a webcam camera to record the road as a video file (.avi). In this paper, researchers combine two algorithms to compare the similarities and differences between histogram and Hough transform algorithm for better lane detection results. |
