  Abstract/
Summary
There are large amounts of lifecycle data during product lifecycle. So far, information flows have been much vague after BOL. However, over the last decade, emerging information and communication technologies have whole product lifecycle made visible and controllable. As a result, the scope of information to be managed is expanded over whole product lifecycle. Hence, it is important to describe product lifecycle information efficiently since it helps to make better decisions on product lifecycle operations. Although much attention has been paid to information modelling research, there has been a lack of the modelling method for product lifecycle information. To cope with this limitation, we will develop a modelling framework for product lifecycle information with resource description framework (RDF). For this, we will briefly look into product lifecycle data. Then we will define RDF statement, product lifecycle information model, and an RDF schema for describing metadata of product lifecycle data with a modelling procedure.
