  Abstract/
Summary
In traditional economy, strategic alliance structures between firms are administrated through classical management styles such as ''Localized'' and ''Networking'' management practices. However, the traditional economy is, successively, transferred into an IT-based economy where the classical globalization is shifting toward the E-Globalization. None of the traditional management concepts has the required flexibility to function effectively in the new environment. A new concept of management thinking can be used to solve this paradox. The new form is designated as ''internetization'' management for the American version (or ''internetisation'' management for the English version). The term ''internetization'' (or ''internetisation''), was first suggested by Abouzeedan et al. (2003). In this work, we explore further this concept and propose a set of general characteristics which would be utilized to evaluate the extent to which management routines of the firm do approach the internetization (or internetisation) management framework. This work is conceptual and exploratory in its nature and thus no empirical data was provided.
