Abstract: Their purpose groupware technologies is to improve and facilitate the flow of information and electronic data as well as to encourage the centralisation of knowledge and skills from within the organisation in a shared virtual space. This experiment described concerns the results of a new workflow system set up in a small accounting firm. We observed managerial practices that were very poorly adapted to the work that under the influence of the ICT, would have become a veritable group activity. The point is that the first step of implementation of a groupware system needs a maturation of the project.
