Abstract: Global warming is a major problem and challenge faced with humankind in the 21st century, and CO2 produced by anthropogenic activities is the main reason for exacerbating the greenhouse effect. We take location-distribution problem as a research object in this paper. This problem should combine with uncertain demand and carbon emission to conform to reality. In this paper, a bi-objective mathematical model, including the objectives of minimum cost and carbon emission, was established. Methods for measuring carbon emission quantitatively from plants and distribution were proposed. Constraints of the model take uncertain demand into account, and scenario analysis method was used to deal with uncertain demands. Finally, the validity of the model was verified by an example. The results show that the greater the uncertainty of demand is, the more cost an enterprise should pay for resources to meet customers' needs, resulting in more carbon emission.
