Abstract: Supply chain management (SCM) is an integration of several activities that involve from purchasing raw materials from supplier to manufacturing the product for the market and to create satisfied customers. Claiming a seamless process through SCM coordinates to the success of an enterprise. This paper deals with the various aspects of risks that are involved in supply chain and envoy solutions to mitigate them. This research paper primarily focuses on proposing a conceptual framework taking dependent and independent variables. The questionnaire was circulated to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) spread across different industrial estates located in and around Chennai, India. The confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and regression analysis (RA) was done for the data received using statistical package for social science (SPSS). The analysis is done to establish the relationship between the variables and measure of supply chain performance (SCP) and a conclusion is drawn.
