Abstract: This paper describes the state-of-the-art of mobile payment and how it affects our world. The results of the paper show that advancement of mobile technology is growing and with this comes many new opportunities with mobile payment. With this knowledge, the findings of this research show that mobile payment is within reach, but issues such as security, trust and privacy must first be handled clearly for successful delivery of service.
