Some 5-year recent articles have been reviewed to critique, compare and summarise previous investigations about flipped classroom in order to propose the effective flipped classroom teaching strategy to engage students. The proposed teaching strategy is based on principles, recommendations and suggestions from prior studies as guidelines for designing flipped classroom.
