Abstract: Innovation is an important function of management because it may be related to organisational performance. Incorporating an innovation management construct in the context of linking some factors would provide a significant contribution to understanding innovation management on both theoretical and practical grounds. There are many factors that have impacts on innovation management. This study explores the effects of the three basic factors of leadership, culture and commitment on managing innovation and aims at closing the gap in the literature by suggesting a conceptual framework that addresses previous innovation studies in a way that is easy to understand and implement. The findings of this study provide a theoretical basis, and can be used to analyse relationships between organisational leadership, organisational culture, organisational commitment and innovation management. In addition, a successful innovation platform is created for organisations to identify root causes of success and build on those strengths for future performance.

Keywords: leadership; organisational culture; organisational commitment; innovation management; innovation; transformational leadership.
