Abstract: Cancer dominates in society without proper care. Manual detection with biopsy sample delaying early detection. It is evident that research work built up new point of reference in creating computer assisted tool for diagnosis in radiology but still manifestation of disease diagnosis must be acknowledged by pathologist. Therefore, automation process is very essential in pathology. In bone cancer, it is documented that minute level of research work has been done. Detection of malignancy from the histopathological image of bone cancer is challenging due to the complex architecture of bone tissue sample. Identification of various magnitude features of malignant bone cells need to be explored in the future research work towards automation for accuracy. This review intends to explore different techniques for developing further progress in automation application tool for bone cancer.
