Abstract: Impact of managers' pressure on a different type of innovation performance is analysed by a panel data model with the data of 134 public enterprises during 2009 to 2012 (a total of 134 × 4 = 536 data). The result shows that pressure from the board of directors has no significant influence on both kinds of innovation performance. Meanwhile, pressure from the board of supervisors goes against to the inventive innovation performance but has no significant influence on the other innovation performance. Pressure from the customer has no significant influence on inventive innovation performance but has a significant negative influence on other innovation performance. On the other hand, pressure from the supplier has a significant negative influence on both kinds of innovation performance. Finally, pressure from the board of directors has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between pressure from the supplier and other innovation performance.
