Abstract: This paper presents a study of managerial perceptions of technology and innovation in MNC subsidiaries. The results show that MNC subsidiaries middle managers construe the hierarchical relationship between the multinational headquarters and the subsidiary as the determining factor in the subsidiary|s technology and innovative activities.
