Abstract: This work investigates how the input parameters (pulse current, polarity, pulse on time, and duty time) in EDM of machining titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V with graphite electrodes effect on surface integrity and material removal rate. The approach employed involves the Design of Experiments (DOE) Method. The results showed that better surface finish is achieved by using positive polarity on the electrode, however this condition leads to lower material removal rate. The white layer thickness is mainly influenced by the pulse on time and it increases as the pulse on time increases.
