Abstract:

It is the policy of Inderscience Publishers to retract from publication any paper if, subsequent to publication, it becomes a matter of dispute regarding intellectual property, publishing ethics or legal issues. Each case is judged according to individual circumstances. In this case, the authors' (Vijay Pal Dhaka and Manoj Kumar Sharma) work, "Classification of Image using a Genetic General Neural Decision Tree", submitted for review on 5 November 2014, has substantial similarities to an unpublished work by Shiueng-Bien Yang, "General Neural Decision Tree for Image Classification", submitted to IEEE Transactions on Image Processing with its first review decision received 4 August 2014, which deems it liable to conflict and ethical dispute. This paper has therefore been retracted.
