Abstract: With the implementation of ||Montreal protocol on substances that deplete the ozone layer||, HCFCs especially R22 will be phased out. R410A (R32/R125,50/50wt%), as one alternative of R22, is a promising refrigerant for air conditioning system. Comparing to R22, R410A has several advantages. Therefore, the R410A air conditioner (a/c) has to be redesigned. This paper introduces the simulation models of an air conditioning system which mainly include compressor, condenser, electronic expansion valve (EEV) and evaporator. The models corresponding to different parts of the system are in coupling each other which needs the help of computer to get optimum results. The simulation results are in coherence with experiment data.
