Abstract: One of the most important factors for improving productivity in human resources in organisations is to develop their psychological capital. There are a lot of studies and works on different aspects of psychological capital, but so far there has been no study carried out on the prerequisites of developing it. We think appropriate labour market is one of the requirements to make organisations inclined to develop psychological capital. In this paper, we examine this prerequisite using game theory. Since current conditions of labour market are not suitable, surface-sighted and profit-seeking organisations simply do not see the need to work with employees to keep them satisfied. Hence, we use a kind of non-cooperative game to test the correctness of our proposed thought. In fact, our intention is to verify our opinion using game theory, not to focus on the game theory.

Keywords: psychological capital; appropriate labour markets; game theory; cooperative games; productivity.
