Abstract: With the current exponential growth in multimedia services, higher data rate, better quality of service and reliability in the transmission have become more of a design requirement in future generations of wireless communication. This paper considers a wireless cooperative MIMO networks using relay techniques as an enhanced technology that is capable of satisfying this need of consumers and spatial diversity. In practical systems which use relay techniques are those which experience diverse signal fading during data transmission. We experiment and evaluate the performance DF in channels with dissimilar fading pattern by employing relaying in the channels. We then generated an expression for the exact closed-form expression of the symbol error rate (SER) for the outage probability of a system with an arbitrary number of relays.
