Abstract: During the past 30 years researchers in the area of supply chain start in testing the logistics strategy and its effect on company's performance. Bowersox and Daugherty (1987) represent one of first studies which tested the logistics strategy. They introduced the topology for studying the logistics strategy and validated it. Thereafter, stream of researches started to test the validity of Bowersox and Daugherty topology but most of them have been done in the USA. The main gap in the area of logistics strategy research is to test the Bowersox and Daugherty topology and its effect on the competitive performance of companies in different economies.
