Abstract: This paper focuses on detection of strip misalignment and wrinkling based on digital image processing. The proposed operation is based on AIM saliency model. Misalignment detection is achieved by tracking the movement of the edges in sequential images. Detection of strip wrinkling is based on the image variance. The experiment shows that the proposed measure has good performance.
