Abstract: Small and medium enterprises (SME) have a vital role in the growth of Indian economy. They contribute significantly towards employment, production and export. However, their performance has declined in the past few years. Information and communication technology (ICT) is a significant factor, which influences the growth of SME. In this research the variables influencing the adoption of ICT in SME are identified through a case study. SAP-LAP method is used to analyse the case. Thus, through this research the method for the smooth adoption of ICT in SME is developed.
