Abstract: Organisational climate refers to employee perceptions and feelings about their work place: factors that give meaning to actions and communications. This means that organisational climate has a strong impact on the motivation level of employees, communication, innovation and even the level of productivity. The Organizational Climate Diagnosis, which was developed in Japan by JMAC in the earlier, is now showing its effectiveness in European companies also, by revealing an original perspective under which one can study and act upon knowledge-intensive organisations.

Keywords: organisational climate; innovation management; knowledge-intensive organisation; human resource development; HRD; employee perceptions.
