Abstract: The article discusses the results of the creation and development of the irradiation base for Neutron Capture Therapy (NCT) at the MEPhI Reactor, development and studies of boron- and gadolinium-containing compounds, and presents the results of pre-clinical NCT studies in large laboratory animals – dogs with spontaneous melanoma.
