Abstract: Image sensors are used more and more widely today. It can get a valuable image through some image sensors at the same time by multi-sensor fusion technology. The security of the images becomes an important issue. It is because the multi-sensors fused images have higher accuracy, more information and more complex shapes than the normal images. The paper designed an image security system for multi-sensors fused images. Firstly, it used a new two-dimensional chaotic map to shuffle the position of pixels of a fused image. At the same time, it also designed a method of key generation. Secondly, it used the logistic map as diffusion mechanism to change the value of pixels in the image and flatted its histogram. Lastly, it proposed a design of hardware system. The simulation results proved the design could be used in real-time information protection for multi-sensors fused images. But it should be noted the image encryption algorithm was low security. It can be modified for high security fields.
