Abstract: The bond graph method is used to model kinematics and dynamics of various one-mode and two-mode series-parallel configurations of Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) transmissions. The bond graph method is also used to analyse the power flow of the considered transmissions in electric variator and full-hybrid operating modes. The analysis is illustrated by numerical static curves related to the maximum transmission output torque for a wide range of vehicle velocities.
