Abstract: Class action is a relatively recent institution in the juridical system of the EU countries, but its use is increasingly becoming popular. Its technical complexity and its newness require an analysis of this institution. This paper makes a view on the regulation of the EU countries and a deeper study of the application in Poland and Spain of different models of class action. The comparison between both systems permits to reach proposals for a more efficient regulation of class actions.
