Abstract: Vehicle routing problem (VRP) is widely dealt within the last four decades. We seek to understand the state of the art in VRP in the context of sustainable supply chain and proposed new six VRP variants encountered in sustainable supply chain routing (SSCR) context but have not been given attention to hitherto. These variants of the classical VRP are complex and pertaining to six domains of SSCR. Constraints relevant to sustainable aspect/implications are considered in all the variants. This paper is devoted to the development of framework and comprehensive review on these six variants of SSCR problems.
