Abstract: This study investigated a total number of 1,000 national quality curricula which were developed and approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) during the period of 2003 to 2010. It focused on several aspects of the curricula, such as accessibility, teaching resource construction, and teacher-student interaction. The result of this study shows that the national quality curricula have achieved obvious progress, but they still have certain problems. Based on the result, suggestions for quality curriculum construction are provided. The suggestions include increasing accessibility, strengthening teaching resource construction, establishing effective interactions between teachers and students, and enhancing management of the national quality curriculum by the MOE.
