Abstract: Econ4 – economics for people, the planet, and the future – responds to the growing demand from students and the wider public for innovative economics education that makes sense of how the economy works and offers a powerful vision of how it should work. Econ4's animated videos will serve as both a springboard for classroom discussion and a means for viral transmission of reality-based, ethically-grounded alternatives to prevailing economic orthodoxy. The Econ4 network for innovative economics teaching will provide a vehicle for sharing of ideas, tools, and practises in the educational community.
