Abstract: The choice of the correct entry mode for a particular foreign market is one of the most critical decisions in international marketing. The objective of this paper is to propose a neutral imprecise data envelopment analysis (IDEA) model in cross-efficiency evaluation context for selecting the best mode of entry. A numerical example demonstrates the application of the proposed method.

Keywords: imprecise DEA; data envelopment analysis; IDEA; entry mode; cross-efficiency; foreign markets; international marketing; market entry.
