Abstract: In a knowledge-based economy, knowledge as a strategic resource of organisation needs to be seen and treated in a new way. Maintaining a strategic advantage of organisation is possible only by tying the organisation|s strategy with its knowledge resources in systems, which involves verifying available resources to determine their suitability for strategy application, and shaping them appropriately. This is made possible due to the knowledge strategy process presented in this paper. The following model assumes that this process involves the identification and assessment of strategic knowledge areas as well as making plans to develop these.
