Abstract: This paper describes a pilot project initiated by the International Association for Continuing Engineering Education (IACEE) to provide video-based courses and other distance education material to serve the USSR|s educational needs in management, technology, and environment. The project will utilise existing western programs and deliver them through a network of distance education centres to be established in the USSR.
