Abstract: The paper describes two related approaches to the design and implementation of technology-supported training systems: (1) the ADAM approach is a user-oriented methodology to system architecture, design and adoption; (2) the CTA approach combines the business and technical viewpoints to system architecture and integration, based on the use of open system standards.
