Abstract: Supplier integration and ISO 9000 certification have been playing crucial roles in establishing the competitive advantages of organisations. Yet, there has been no effort to exploit the synergy of their integration. The research reported in this paper has filled this gap. During the research, supply chain constructs derived from literature were grouped under clusters and then amended within the ISO 9001:2000 standards. This effort has resulted in the evolution of the model called the ISO 9001:2000 based Supply Chain Quality Management System (ISO-SCQMS). A hypothetical case study has been presented to outline the steps required for the implementation of ISO-SCQMS.
