Title: Linchpin projects as a basis for establishing effective production systems in Third World nations

Abstract: There are three key problem facing most Third World nations today. These are hunger, disease, and the burden of accumulated debts. These problem require innovative solutions which traditional management schemes based on pure economic policies cannot provide, because the problems are technology related. This paper analyses he root causes of the problems, and the basis for establishing and managing new development programs for a skill-starved region, so as to provide lasting solutions to the technology-related problems of hunger, disease and debts.
