Title: Structural analysis of continuous contracts in technological trade using numerical simulation

Abstract: The governmental statistics covering technological trade give a rough outline of each country|s activities in this field. The contents of continuous contracts, however, are not known from these statistics. I formulated a new method to estimate each year|s contribution arising from continuous contracts and implemented a conjecture using this new method. Successful simulation of the data was achieved and the validity of this new method was demonstrated. I made clear that the characteristics of Japanese technological trade changed on these two decades through an analysis of the simulation models. Further developments along the lines of this new approach and analysis will be useful in order to reveal the characteristics of each industry and each country in technological trade.
