Abstract: Enterprise architecture frameworks are very important for achieving a common view of the primary resources playing in any enterprise (people, processes and technology) and how they integrate to provide service to customers. This work analyses the Zachman|s framework to: enrich it with a more process-oriented point of view (not so much IT-technician oriented); include traceability relationships between the framework|s artifacts to do it more dynamic to manage change. Additionally, traceability relationships permit to align strategy, processes, IT and people, justify decisions and manage change. Finally, we show how Zachman|s framework can be used to detect interoperability problems.
