Title: Light complex hydrides: novel, promising and potential H2 storage materials

Abstract: Light Complex Hydrides (LCHs) have attracted great attention in recent years due to their high H2 storage capacity, ranging from 5.7 wt.% for KAlH4 to 18.4 wt.% for LiBH4. Much extensive work has been devoted to sodium alanates, i.e., NaAlH4 and LiAlH4 compounds. This review paper will focus on the synthesis (including doping, crystal structure and thermodynamic properties) of LCHs.
