Abstract: Enterprises adopt various Small Scale Office Information System (SOIS) for business operations. SOIS requires frequent modifications because of the operation changes schedule, but it includes significant errors. This paper proposes an MH estimation technique of SOIS. In this technique, regression analysis is conducted using results of MH and it derives a relationship that is ||the square of the number of input data is in proportion to MH||. We applied this relationship and confirmed to estimate MH within 10% error. Consequently, risks to fall into the red can be avoided.

Keywords: man-hours estimation; office information systems; regression analysis; input data; system proposal.
