Abstract: In this work, the emissions of four pollutants (CO, Benzene, NOx and PM10) during a working day were estimated and presented in main avenues of Athens, Greece with the aid of the COPERT methodology. The data used as input to the COPERT III was collected through a measuring campaign every 15 min and lane for the time period 07.30-17.30 of a weekday. The results revealed the CO, Benzene, NOx and PM10 patterns in main avenues of Athens, Greece during a typical working day.
