Abstract: Though China has made great achievement in energy conservation in the last two decades, its energy consumption is increasing rapidly. In March 2006, China|s government set a target for reducing its energy intensity by 20% by 2010 compared to the 2005 value. In this paper, we analyse China|s current energy efficiency situations, and put forward some policy implications on energy saving.
