Abstract: While management perspective of ISO9000 and TQM are vitally important, the availability of technology such as hypermedia in complementing the concept and facilitating the implementation needs careful attention. In this study, the authors aim to study the potentials of Web-based quality management system in addressing the information requirements, its roles in quality system and its implementation in a computer assembly industry. An investigation and analysis of a quality system of Olympia Computer Systems Ltd, is used to formulate a conceptual framework of Web-based quality management system, which include document and data control, teamwork support and integration, learning support, and system benefits frameworks. A pilot Web-based application is developed according to the frameworks on networked environment to create a practical solution for the system.
