Title: Current international trends in international product liability law

Abstract: Over the half past century, with the developments in industrialisation and international trade, product liability has been a popular and dynamic legal issue of international law. Through the course of time, several economic and social considerations have been taken into account in the formulation of product liability rules. Consumer protection ideas and striking a balance between the parties have emerged as the most effective factors in the law making policies of many jurisdictions. This paper will address how these different concerns affect the product liability regimes in substantive field of law and what are the reflections of these concerns to the international product liability law.
