Abstract: In the last ten years there has been an increase in research on the concept of collaboration. While collaboration and collaborative learning are able to transform our society, only a few tools and methods were developed. In this paper, we will introduce a new and innovative method for measuring team quality that we call the WeQ-test. The test consists of 42 propositions divided into six topics. The form of the propositions requires switching between your perspective and the perspective of other members of the team. An in-depth analysis of those individual factors provides data about where the particular strengths and challenges in a group can be identified. Regarding the use of the WeQ-test in NGOs and start-ups, an empirical study will be designed. With the findings gained from this research, the project attempts to clarify on a broader scale what learning means with reference to collaboration.
