Abstract: The paper focuses on production processes innovation, following a holistic approach to competitiveness. Adopting a holistic approach to competitiveness is a decision which should be taken by top management who determine their priorities in an organisation|s policy. In order to identify company policies in 97 Slovene companies, we employed the methodology of an integrated audit evaluating the managing of a company policy. We developed an integrated model of production processes innovation, based on the findings that a desired purpose can be reached from the subjective and objective starting points of change agents and the interdependencies among both of them.
